Information we collect
Quote requests
The form on our Contact page collects your name, email address, phone number, company, the markets and dates you are interested in, and your message. Email address and message are required; the rest are optional. We also record the IP address the submission came from and the date and time, for spam prevention.
We use this to respond to your enquiry and to quote for the work. We also add your details to our contact list and may send you information about our services. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message. Unsubscribing does not affect our response to your enquiry.
Applications
The form on our Join our Team page collects your name, postal address, phone number, email address, date of birth, relevant experience, languages spoken, and whether you hold a permit to serve alcohol. It also accepts attachments: a photograph, and optionally a résumé and a copy of your alcohol permit.
We collect date of birth because assignments involving alcohol require you to be of legal drinking age in the state where the event takes place. It is used to check eligibility for those assignments and for no other purpose.
We use this to assess your application and consider you for assignments. If you are engaged on an event, your application forms the basis of our working record for you.
Uploaded documents are stored outside the published area of our web server. No web address returns them. They can be opened only by a signed-in administrator of this site.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, driver’s licence numbers, passport details, banking information or medical information through this website. We do not request them at application stage. Where they are required later, we collect them by other means.
Disclosure
We do not sell your information or share it for third-party advertising. We disclose it to the following service providers, solely so they can perform their function:
- SiteGround — website hosting and database storage.
- Mailgun — email delivery.
- Div Digital — website development and maintenance; receives a copy of quote notifications.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
Our application form is currently provided by Formsite and displayed within our Join our Team page. Information entered into that form is submitted to Formsite and is subject to their terms and privacy policy in addition to this one. We are replacing it with a form hosted on this website; this page will be updated when we do.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising tracking. We intend to add visitor analytics; this page will be updated to state what is collected before it is enabled.
Links to our social media pages are ordinary links. Those services load nothing into this site and receive nothing unless you follow the link.
Retention
- Quote requests — three years from last contact.
- Applications not resulting in engagement — one year.
- Applications from people engaged on our events — duration of the working relationship plus three years.
- Uploaded documents — deleted with the application they belong to.
- Contact list entries — until you unsubscribe or request removal.
Your rights
Contact info@brandambassadorgroup.com to:
- obtain the information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- have it deleted, except where we are required to retain it;
- receive a copy of what you provided;
- stop receiving marketing messages.
We respond within 45 days. We may first verify your identity. Exercising any of these rights will not result in any difference in the service you receive.
State law may grant you additional rights depending on where you live. We honour such requests whether or not we are legally obliged to.
Children
This website is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection. Enquiry and application records are not published on the site, and uploaded documents are stored outside its published area and require an administrator sign-in to access. No system is entirely secure; we limit risk by collecting only what we need and retaining it only for the periods stated above.
Changes
We will update this page if what we collect or who we disclose it to changes, and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be noted here for at least 30 days.
